Congresswoman Renee Ellmers

Congresswoman Renee Ellmers is a member of the United States House of Representatives – elected to represent my North Carolina Congressional District. I have been told repeatedly that I have no choice but to seek help from her.  This is wrong for many reasons, one of which is that my husband was allowed to illegally moonlight as a doctor in clinics all across the State of North Carolina, and in other states as well. He was allowed to hide from a warrant for arrest and to hide from his creditors who live all over this country.  The unethical secret military policies that allowed this to happen  harmed  me, and denied me my rights as a wife, and my Due Process rights as an American citizen, and they denied other American citizens their Due Process rights as well. These unethical secret military policies harm  hundreds of thousands of American citizens in every state of this country.  Every US Senator and member of the United States House of Representatives has a duty to act to abolish these unethical secret military policies.

I contacted my Congresswoman several times from December of 2014 on and got no response.  Finally, in July of 2015 I was able to speak with someone in her office.  Elsewhere on this website are some of the hundreds of communications, including phone calls and emails with the office Congresswoman Renee Ellmers Office.   When I refer to Congresswoman Renee Ellmers, I should clarify that she never actually took the tome to contact me personally, even after months of what her staff referred to as my grave situation, that the conditions under which I was living were “horrendous: and that the abusive conduct of my husband was  “criminal.”  Congresswoman Renee Ellmers is responsible for the staff who act in her name and with her authority, so I reference her staff’s conduct under her name.

 

I made a very simple request of Congresswoman Renee Ellmers.  I asked that she formally address the secret unethical military policies that had allowed my abuse to happen, had failed to stop the abuse when the military had irrefutable evidence of it, and failed to stop the abuse from continuing. 

To make it clear to Congresswoman Renee Ellmers why this was her concern and why to make it clear why ONLY the United States Congress has the power and the authority to investigate this military policy matter (and put an end to these abhorrent unethical military policies), it was necessary to explain some of the context of the abuse and give examples of its impact. My abuser is my husband, a United States  Air Force Medical Officer.  As such he is the property of the United States Air Force and no civil court has authority over this matter.  ONLY the United States Congress has the power and the authority to investigate this matter and put an end to these abhorrent unethical military policies.

For months  I literally begged Congresswoman Ellmers staff to come here and see the real life impact of these abhorrent, secret unethical military policies. I was exhausted, and in pain and injured… typing was excruciating, and I knew that I was missing parts of the huge ugly picture of what has been going on here.

To truly understand all of this, including conditions like “no heat in the winter and mold growing in the house” and “no air conditioning in the summer in 100 degree heat”  or “bathing on a stool above a tub filling with sewage back up”  are things you need to experience first hand.

After months, in November of 2015  Congresswoman Renee Ellmers conveyed the following falsehoods to the Military at the Pentagon:  here is a link to just the November 2015 emails to and from the office of Congresswoman Renee Ellmers.  The rest of Congresswoman Renee Ellmers emails are on pages of this website under the tab of her name.

Congresswoman Renee Ellmers  told the Pentagon that I was claiming that my husband had canceled my Tri Care Insurance (This is an utterly false claim, one that I never made, and I immediately asked Congresswoman Renee Ellmers to correct their mistake.  I believe that Congresswoman Renee Ellmers never corrected her false claim, because Senator  Thom Tillis references this false claim on January 9, 2015, and apparently Tillis believes it is a claim I made.

Congresswoman Renee Ellmers indicated that I needed information on how to file a Freedom of Information Request.  Again, this is a mistake made by Congresswoman Ellmers.  I told Ellmers months earlier that  I had filed a FOIA claim in late August early September of 2015.  It is:   FOIA CASE 2015-05845-F  On or about October 9, 2015  I received an email from Assurance Security Officer Timothy Lyon, timothy.lyon.4@us.af.mil granting me access to a file(s) which simply said that it would take more time to produce the documents I had requested.   As of January 11, 2016 I have received nothing further that is responsive to my formal FOIA request.  All that Congresswoman Ellmers actually did was make mistakes and make things worse for me.

I was concerned when I learned of these utterly false representation to the Pentagon by Congresswoman Renee Ellmers and immediately said so,  in writing to Congresswoman Renee Ellmers on November 18, 2015, asking that they correct their mistakes.  I don’t believe they ever did, so the military and apparently Senators Thom Tillis and Senator Richard Burr will not act because they wrongly believe this matter has been addressed and resolved, and they are too lazy or incompetent to actually look at any of facts.

Congresswoman Renee Ellmers instructed me on how to file for food stamps (when I am the wife – not the “ex-wife” but the current wife of  United States Air Force Medical Officer, who has the ability to make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year)

Congresswoman Renee Ellmers also passed me off to the American Kennel Club and The Moore County Kennel Club*  Neither of these organizations have anything at all to do with the policies of the United States military. The Constitution of the United States of American mandates that CONGRESS shall make the laws that govern the military, not the American Kennel Club or a local dog club,  and Congresswoman Renee Ellmers should know this.

(*I belonged to the Moore County Kennel Club for about ten years and was one of the most active club members. I know the club well.   It is a social club with about half a dozen active members, sweet little ladies in their seventies, who meet for dinner once a month and put on a dog show once a year.  Congresswoman Renee Ellmers is so sloppy in incompetent, she must have looked in a phone book, saw the name and just assumed it was a government agency.  Clearly Congresswoman Ellmers did absolutely no research of any kind on the issues I brought to her attention.)

When I responded to  Congresswoman Ellmers that she had not done a single thing to abolish  the secret unethical military policies that lead to my abuse, and that they had actually made the situation even worse, Congresswoman Renee Ellmers  responded  that they were satisfied with what they had done and I could go elsewhere if  I was not happy.

Congresswoman Ellmers so mismanaged every aspect of this, her staff actually made things much worse for me by ignoring why I had contacted them, and simply making things up.  But to be fair, Senator John McCain, Senator Richard Burr, Vice President Joe Biden and House Member Nancy Pelosi have been about the same.

Over this past year I have contacted every member of the United States Congress and every House of Representative leader from both parties multiple times. As recently as January 12, 2016 I have  contacted ever member of the Senate Appropriations Committee and any Department of Defense related committee, by phone and by their online form.

After over of year of this I now have the strong impression that our Congressional Representatives do not even understand that they have a job, and that their job is to work for me to address and resolve situations like this, which are beyond the control of civilians or civilian courts and authority.

These secret unethical military policies are wrong on so many levels and hurt thousands and thousands of people, including women, the elderly, the disabled, and even ordinary citizens seeking payment for debts owes, and unsuspecting citizens seeking medical care.

The United States Congress needs to investigate this situation, because it is a horrific example of just how wrong these  secret unethical military policies are.  And then Congress needs to do their job and abolish these policies.  It is just that simple.

Update: January 23, 2016 –  I have not received any response from my United Sates Congresswoman Renee Ellmers in months.   Given the enormity of the issues here, which impact me and thousands of women, and the elderly and victims of abuse all across North Carolina, of all races, ages adn gender, given that the underlying issues are grounded in secret unethical military policies which only Congress can investigate, expose and abolish,  I wonder how long it will take the Renee Ellmers – the United States Congresswoman  from North Carolina to actually do her job and act to protect the citizens of North Carolina. I now wonder what Congresswoman Renee Ellmers thinks her job is. And I wonder who on earth ever plucked her out of 600,00 citizens in the 2nd District  to run for the United States Congress.

This was never just about one woman… it was always about thousands of North Carolina citizens, and Congresswoman Renee Ellmers would have know that if she had ever truly paid attention to what was happening here.

In  November of 2014 my husband left behind thousands of dollars of debt and obligation to third parties, many of whom threatened to sue, in Moore County, North Carolina.  Because my husband was hiding from Service of Process, I could not get him to sign off the animals in December of 2014 or early January of 2015 (when there were buyers from around the world that wanted to purchase the dogs  and the income from the sales would have given me the ability to find a safe place to live and to care appropriately for the remaining animals until the situation with Arthur was resolved.  The unethical secret military policies that Arthur Greenwood used and benefited from, meant that I alone would have to defend against his  creditor’s claims  for thousands and thousands of dollars owed,  without funds or the ability to do so. And these secret unethical military policies allowed Arthur to continue to treat North Carolina civilians in medical clinics in every respect these heinous cowardly unethical military policies are wrong and should be abolished immediately.

• There needs to be a full Congressional Review of this abuse, of why it happened in the first place and of why it has been allowed to continue.
• Only a full Congressional Hearing of the military policies which allowed my abuse and this horrific situation will help change these heinous unethical military policies.

From early December of 2014 on, for or over a year now,  I have exhausted every resource, both military and civilian. My husband is the property of the USAF and NO civilian court can address this situation, and frankly it is now too late.  I am permanently injured and will likely die of complications of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy – CTE. I live with the symptoms of CTE, and am well aware of the impact of this terminal condition.  And at this point I am powerfully aware that this all could have been prevented and SHOULD have been prevented by those who knew and did nothing.

Ellmers staff flat out said that I had no choice but to deal with Ellmers’ office.  On November 18, 2015, US Congresswoman Renee Ellmers simply abandoned the issue entirely.  In sum they have done absolutely nothing at all, even after months of promises and repeated admissions that my situation was of grave importance.

The Moore County Kennel Club is essentially a social club, with few active members, i.e.,  half a dozen or so  seventy year-old ladies, many  of whom are ex realestate agents, who meet for dinner once a month and put on a dog show once a year. This private social club  carries the name of our county, so my United States Congresswoman Renee Ellmers – in her utter lack of due diligence – must have thought that this tiny private social club was a government agency.  That is beyond pathetic.  Ellmers also sought help for me from “the Regional Office of the American Kennel Club.”  There is no such thing, but see the tab under AKC to truly understand just how pathetic this was, especially in this specific situation, e.g. the conduct of AKC staff and Directors.
