Vanilla is a sabino Belgian draft mare.  She was kind enough to carry an embryo for Fancy Ruler, our 23 y/o mare, producing a beautiful Oldenburg pinto colt Lord Baltimore by Lord Sinclair.  

Vanilla did her job well. On July 27, 2005 Lord Baltimore was awarded Premium (with an 8.5 for movement) and was named Colt Champion at Hilltop Farms Oldenburg Registry North American Mare Foal Inspection. 

We are forever indebted to Vanilla for her grace and obvious charm,  and for the gift of life she gave Lord Baltimore.   She has proven to be an extraordinary surrogate mom.
